Skip the introductory tutorial
Open the pause menu during Getting Started and use the displayed skip option. Skip only if you already understand movement, map use, communication and the basic spawn loop.
Leadership tutorials are required
The official launch post distinguishes optional Getting Started training from the Commander and Squad Leader tutorials. Complete the relevant leadership tutorial before expecting that role to be selectable.
If completed progress disappears
Community Update #1 confirms reports that tutorial completion sometimes fails to save, which can block Squad Leader or Commander. The team has found the issue difficult to reproduce and marks it Under Investigation. Return to the main menu once to give progression a normal save opportunity, but do not claim this is a guaranteed fix or delete local save data.
Two different tutorial issues
Lost completion is not the same as being unable to open Tutorials or Practice Range when a username contains a colon (:). The Patch 1.2 notes list the colon case as a Patch 1.3 target; the post gives no exact release date.
Frequently asked questions
Can I skip every tutorial?
No. Getting Started can be skipped, but leadership tutorials are required to unlock Commander and Squad Leader.
Why can I not select Squad Leader after completing training?
Tutorial completion can fail to save and remains under investigation. Record a recent reproduction with platform and build instead of deleting save data.
