Current official signal
The August 16 developer thread says Hotfix 1 is live on all platforms, includes further server stability improvements and continues the rollout of additional official servers. It does not claim a permanent all-region resolution, and no official public service API is cited.
Server browser changes in the live hotfix
The official notes say the Server Browser will refresh automatically more frequently, full servers are hidden from the default server list and the ranking algorithm prioritizes low-ping servers with 80 or fewer players. These improve capacity discovery; they are not a global uptime measurement.
Fast connection checklist
Confirm the latest build is installed, wait for the automatic browser refresh, keep full servers hidden and test a low-ping server with visible capacity. If one Community Server fails while others work, treat it as server-specific; if all targets fail, record platform, region, build and exact error before escalating.
Why this page avoids a fake status light
A reliable status page needs a defined source and scope. Until an official service API exists, this page reports dated signals and known incidents instead of claiming that every PC, PlayStation and Xbox service is operational.
Frequently asked questions
Are the servers down?
Hotfix 1 is live with server stability improvements, but the official notes do not establish the health of every region, platform and individual server.
Why can a listed server still reject me?
A stale capacity display, version mismatch, platform service issue or individual server problem can all produce a join failure.
